ITINERARY #2 : 10 Night Desert & Delta Lodge Safari ~ Best value
Day 1 & 2: Waterberry Lodge, Livingstone
Upon arrival into Livingstone Airport, guests will be met and transferred to Waterberry lodge by road where they will stay for two nights.
Waterberry Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River about 14 miles from Livingstone, towards Kazungula. The main double-storey lodge area overlooks the Zambezi River and the game park beyond. Upstairs the main lounge is open to the high thatched ceiling with plenty of seating and boasts a well-stocked bar and magnificent views. Meals are served in the dining area or alfresco on the sun terrace that overlooks the river.
In-house activities include a tour of falls, sunset cruise, daytime cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding, guided village walk and guided tour of the town and local markets – two of these activities are included per day. All other activities offered in Livingstone are at an additional expense and can be booked in the lodge.

Following breakfast, guests will be transferred by road and short ferry transfer to Chobe Elephant Camp (approximately a 2 hour trip) where they will stay for two nights.
Located high on the edge of a rocky ridge overlooking the famous Chobe River is the newly developed Chobe Elephant Camp. This uniquely designed lodge has been built to take advantage of the incredible views overlooking the sweeping floodplains while offering a comfortable refuge from the sometimes harsh African conditions.
The camp offers a variety of activities that include viewing the region’s spectacular wildlife from open safari vehicles, by boat on the Chobe River or on foot in the surrounding Forest Reserve or experiencing life in the village, a visit to Chobe Elephant Camp offers a wide range of experiences to our guests.

Day 5 & 6: Kwara Camp, Private Concession Bordering Moremi Game Reserve
Following a morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast guests will be transferred to Kasane airport for their onward air transfer to Kwara Camp. Kwara is renowned for being a camp that offers a year round delta experience and a diverse range of activities including mokoro trips, guided walks with armed guides and motor boating trips through the waterways. In addition, day and night game drives are taken to explore the area which offers spectacular scenery with scattered herds of plains game and ever-attendant predators.
Please note that Kwando Safaris game drive vehicles do not have an overhead canopy. Kwando Safaris believe this is to their clients’ advantage for optimal photographic and game viewing opportunities. This may not be suitable for some clients due to exposure to the elements.

After an early morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, guests will be transferred to Pom Pom Camp by light aircraft, where they will stay for two nights. Activities included in this delta paradise are game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions all taken with local expert guides. The tranquility of the delta and beauty of its winding water ways, open lagoons and tree islands will be a highlight of your safari.
Hippo and crocodile are found in the deeper lagoons and big predators such as lion and leopard, as well as buffalo, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest move through the area. If you are lucky, some of the nocturnal animals such as serval, civet and genet may be seen on night drives. Birding enthusiasts will enjoy the regular sightings of Pels Fishing Owl, African Fish Eagle, Giant Eagle Owl and White Backed Vultures.

Day 9 & 10: Nxai Pan Camp, Nxai Pan
Following the morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, guests will be transferred to Nxai Pan Camp by light aircraft. Activities include game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, stargazing, day trips to Baines’ Baobab and nature walks in the vicinity of the camp with the bushman staff. Nxai Pan is a national park and a very ecologically sensitive area; for this reason, no night drives or off road driving is permitted.

Day 11: Safari ends in Maun
Following the morning activity (time permitting) and breakfast, guests will be transferred to Maun by light aircraft for their onward travel arrangements.
