RIP Cecil :: Good Earth Tours & Safaris

Lioness in dry grass :: Good Earth Tours & Safaris

A possible mate

THE RECENT SHOOTING OF A LION NAMED CECIL in Zimbabwe by Walter J. Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota, has sparked outrage by all. Reaction to the senseless death of this renowned lion is appropriate; may the results be swift and just. Nothing less would be acceptable!

Dr. Palmer was not alone in this incident. In a report by CNN, two other men are implicated… Theo Bronchorst, a professional hunter, and Honest Trymore Ndlovu, a landowner, both Zimbabweans. They said through their attorney that they were innocent of poaching charges, which officials said could bring a sentence of 10 years in prison. May they all get what they deserve… maximum retribution for the senseless death of Cecil.

Good Earth Tours is encouraging all who are outraged by the death of Cecil to take action… NOW. This will hopefully bring this matter to ‘top of mind’ with all people having a role to play in the preservation and protection of wildlife in Africa. It’s time to make it global!

If you are of a similar mind to us and would like to share your feelings on this matter, please email us. We will add your responses to this post, as part of our efforts to enhance awareness of the need to take action, and call a ‘spade a spade’.

We look forward to hearing from our existing and prospective clients.
