Met upon your arrival in EBB; and transfer to Hotel in Kampala.

Entebbe / Ngamba Island
After breakfast, you will be transferred by a speedboat, which will be waiting for you for your trip to the famous Chimpanzee Island. Arrive by about 2:30 for a briefing before heading to the feeding area where you will participate in the feeding of the juvenile chimps. (Please note that you will be required to have shots of Hepatitis A and B, Measles, (or had the disease as a child, Meningococcal/menomune vaccine, Polio, tetanus-up to date and yellow fever).

Ngamba Island / Fort Portal / Kibale
Morning after breakfast, start the morning forest walk with the juvenile chimpanzees. You will be allowed to hold them while in the forest and you should expect to get very dirty courtesy of the playful chimpanzees. Later, sail and head west with picnic lunch proceeding through Fortportal. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge.

Kibale (Ndali)
Morning breakfast, later start a half day Forest walk in the Forest on a primate Eco walk. Look out for the Red Colubus (an endemic species only found in this forest in Uganda ). Other primates include the Chimpanzee, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys and others. In the afternoon, take a swamp walk in Magombe for a closer to nature encounter. Return to Ndali Lodge.

Kibale / Bwindi
After breakfast, we drive to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with picnic lunches. Drive through the Ishasha Plains the area famous for its tree climbing Lions. Arrive at Buhoma the Gorilla Staging area where dinner and overnight is at the Gorilla Resort Bwindi Camp.

Bwindi
After half an hour brief by park ranger guide, we start about 8 hrs trek to find the Mountain gorillas (can take 2hrs up to about 10 hrs of trekking time). The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Bwindi / Volcanoes Park
After breakfast, we will have a scenic drive to Rwanda through the mountainous area referred to as the Little Switzerland. Overnight at Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge.

Volcanoes Park
After breakfast, we will have our second day of gorilla trekking for the whole trip.
This time to a different group of Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes Gorilla Park.

Volcanoes / Kigali / Departure
After breakfast, we drive to Kigali airport with a visit to the Genocide Memorial before heading to the airport for departure, B.
