Volcanoes Park
Day of gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes gorilla park. Depending on the level of fitness, you may be allowed to choose the group of gorillas you wish to visit. The closest being about 2 hours or even a couple of minutes from the park boundary.

Volcanoes Park
Early morning hike to the Famous Dian Fossey Research centre and Grave Yard. Where Dr. Fossey spent close to two decades habituating, studying and conserving the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Return for overnight at the Mountain Gorillas Nest Lodge in Kinigi.

Volcanoes Park / Nyungwe Forest
Morning breakfast then transfer to the Nyungwe Forest. This Forest contains a variety of habitats including montane forest, bamboo, grasslands, swamps and bogs, and is very mountainous too. It provides some of the best Golden Monkey trekking experiences in East Africa.

Nyungwe Forest
Breakfast early before starting the morning Chimpanzee trekking expedition in the forest in search of colonies of habituated Golden Monkeys. Other wildlife in the forest include: grey-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, Angolan colobus, L'hoest's monkeys and owl-faced monkeys.
